High Profile: LA Metro Chief to Step Down; STB Names Vice Chair; NYC Picks Transportation Commissioner

Washington, CEO of the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), has informed the Board of Directors that he will step down when his contract expires in May. In addition, the Surface Transportation Board (STB) has designated Robert Primus as Vice Chairman. Henry (Hank) Gutman has been appointed Commissioner of the New York City Department of Transportation.
