Railway Age‘s annual Rail Insights virtual conference features fireside chats with multiple industry leaders. In their discussions with Railway Age editors, they will tackle key strategic challenges facing railroaders today.
The 10th annual conference on June 20 will include commentary from Jason Seidl, Managing Director of Industrials at TD Cowen, and Contributing Editor at Railway Age. Seidl will reveal how financial analysts and investors perceive the railroad sector. Throughout his career, Seidl has been recognized for his stock picking and EPS accuracy in numerous national polls and surveys, and he is well-placed to break down Wall Street’s current thinking on the industry.
The fireside chat will also explore the impact of the Norfolk Southern (NS) proxy battle. While shares suffered a downturn at the time of last week’s vote, NS is committed to greater operational efficiency and productivity. Operating changes have already been put into motion at NS with Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer John Orr’s appointment.
