CP Rio Grande to Acquire SLRG Assets

Colorado Pacific Rio Grande Railroad (CP Rio Grande) filed a verified notice of exemption to acquire and operate the approximately 149-mile San Luis & Rio Grande Railroad (SLRG) in Colorado, according to the Surface Transportation Board (STB), which on Jan. 5 reported the transaction could be consummated on or after Jan. 19, 2023.

Representatives from OmniTRAX and The Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway host the local nonprofit recipients of their annual community outreach program. $100,000 in donations were distributed to eleven local nonprofits throughout the Brownsville community.

Railway LLC (FCR), a managed affiliate of OmniTRAX, presents a community donation to an Atlanta-area fire department in honor of Owens Corning Trumbull Atlanta Division.

Scoular Completes New Nebraska High-Speed Shuttle Loading Facility

Scoular, an employee-owned agribusiness, on Nov. 17 celebrated the completion of its new Grainton, Neb.-based high-speed shuttle loading facility, which will allow producers in southwest Nebraska to “have new markets for their grain, plus significantly faster unloading speeds and increased storage.”
