SYSTRA names Harrison Sector Manager, Systems

SYSTRA has named Patrick Harrison, P.E., as Vice President and Sector Manager, Systems. He will lead SYSTRA’s signal, communications, and systems integration engineering practice and be based in the company’s New York City headquarters.

SYSTRA improves RAILSIM® capabilities for ASCES modeling

SYSTRA has implemented enhancements to its RAILSIM® modeling program for the Advanced Civil Speed Enforcement System (ACSES) Positive Train Control (PTC) system. ACSES is the overlay PTC technology utilized on Amtrak’s Northeast Corridor.

SYSTRA’s Brandon Swartley honored by IEEE

Brandon Swartley, P.E., SYSTRA’s Sector Manager for Traction Power and Chair of IEEE’s (Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers) VTS (Vehicular Technology Society) Philadelphia Chapter, last month accepted the IEEE Philadelphia Section’s 2013 Chapter of the Year Award, on behalf of his chapter.

Sais named EVP Engineering at SYSTRA

SYSTRA has promoted Joseph Sais, P.E., to Executive Vice President, Engineering. In this capacity, Sais will oversee the firm’s U.S.-based Infrastructure, Traction Power, Systems, and Construction Management and Program Management Sectors. He will be based in New York City.
